The goal of this project was to enhance the sidewalk presence of the Office of International Education and encourage students and community members to explore its resources, including study abroad programs, international admissions, and the American Language Institute. I designed a window display that celebrates global cultures in an abstract, colorful way. The vibrant visuals spark curiosity and invite the IUP community inside, while reflecting the office’s dynamic and welcoming atmosphere. By combining playful design elements with an emphasis on cultural richness, the display highlights international opportunities and encourages students to engage with the diverse experiences available at IUP.

I was deeply involved in both the production and installation of the piece. I introduced a new visual style to campus by creating a composition in which shapes appear to float, adding depth and movement to the design. This approach created an exciting opportunity to collaborate with the print center and experiment with new materials. After testing several options, we selected an optically clear vinyl paired with a five-color printing process, allowing us to achieve vibrant, accurate color reproduction that closely matched the original digital file. We then worked closely with facilities and the substrate vendor to ensure a precise and successful installation, with the following section outlining the key steps in this creative and production process.
